How are your images printed?Each print is prepared according to the needs of each patron. If you would like to discuss an order or have any questions please contact us. We offer pigment prints. Images are currently placed on Hahnemühle - Matte FineArt German Etching by a Roland FJ-540 Hi-Fi Jet Pro II printer. Our prints are approximately 16" x 20". The print size is determined by the aspect ratio of the film - 4" x 5" (4:5) - and the scale of enlargement - 4x. All prints are made from 24" x 30" drum scans of the original negatives or transparencies. Our scans are optical and do not use interpolation. They are produced by a Fuji Celsis 6250 (Crosfield) with the scan size exceeding the print size. Our print prices exclude framing, matting, mounting and freight.  |
